Anshu litigates before the Land Revenue Tribunal, the Trial Court and the High Court in Bihar. While Anshu takes on a range of cases, the bulk of his cases are petitions on behalf of the landless before the Land Revenue Tribunal to protect/title of landless tillers. Anshu also focuses on cases from Criminal Justice Initiative, Sexual Reproductive Rights. Anshu was integral to an investigation with the condition of inmates and access to legal aid in 58 prisons in the state of Bihar. The exhaustive report running into 1600 pages has resulted in numerous petitions in the Bihar high court, resulting in directions for hospitals, for medical facilities, for women doctors for the women inmates and separation of inmates with HIV-AIDS from those with communicable diseases like tuberculosis etc.
